My Music review
My Music is a simple and straightforward music player that doesn’t have anything pretty or unique about. It just lets you listen to your music and helps in organizing your music using various criteria, like an album, artist, and folders in your device storage.
Using the app is not the most pleasant experience you’ve ever had. Every time you launch the app, you will be introduced to the full-screen ad. After you skip it, the other one follows it immediately with the offer to download Music Stream Player from Google Play. So as you can see, the beginning is not great at all. Before you have a chance to start listening to your music, you need to skip at least two ads. That is really irritating.
The interface is almost entirely black with the menu on the top of the screen that features four sections:
Once you tap the Help button, the app redirects you to the My Music’s Google Play page or just kicks you out to your phone’s Home menu. And when you come back you are greeted with the familiar full-screen ad once again.
Well, I guess the users are just not welcome here. With this amount of ads and a frequency of ads popping up, developers didn’t care about people who want to play their music. They just put the app on the market to earn some cash placing on the screen as much advertisement as they could.
Thus I don’t recommend the My Music app to anyone. Stick to the app you’ve used to listen to music before. The list of the features you may find on the My Music app’s page on the play market is just useless and means nothing when you are annoyed with the app after two seconds after opening it.
